Here at Against the Grain Woodworking, you don’t need a plan, just an idea. I can always work and draw out a plan for any project even if you found it on Pinterest or Facebook. I can draw up the plans to your specification for a small fee and once we agree on an idea and build we move forward to pricing and building. Nothing is done without an agreement between myself and the customer.

What is Hands Free and Car Free Shipping?
Yeah, sounds corny, but it works. I don’t want customers to think they can’t get something because of distance. I ship from home with UPS, FedEx, and USPS. I can send an electronic invoice to your phone or email that you can pay for right from the comfort of your own home. I will also include a tracking number so you can keep track of your product as it is coming to your doorstep.
Laser Engraving
Laser engraving is also available here at Against the Grain Woodworking, Any items including pen can be engraved with names, logos, etc. Results can vary depending on what is desired to be added and the type of wood that is being used for the engraving. Luckily, this is an area I have tested many qualities and found the best woods for desired results.
*A small fee for designing is also included in the price of the item for designing*

Shipping Costs
Shipping cost are figured by weight and size of package as determined by the carrier. I shop for the best price unless the customer requests a specific shipping provider. To help keep cost low I only charge what the carriers quotes to ship an item. These prices are never my own.
Customer Items
Custom items will have a down payment required for cost of materials that is non refundable. This is because I have previously made custom items with names, dates, etc. that the customer backed out of after completion. This cost me money I cannot get back and was stuck with lost product.
